please senior friends, i need your help on removing simple portal side blocks (left and right panel) without it affecting other themes. I have a mobile theme and the portal is displaying fully on it, i just need the news board only. Thank you for your time and help.

To do this, you need to make changes in your Subs-Portal.php file, this is located in the public_html/Sources/Subs-Portal.php

On this file look for this code bellow
Code: [Select]
// Load the headers if necessary.
Then replace it with this code
Code: [Select]
if (in_array($settings['theme_id'], array(1, 2, 3)))
$modSettings['showleft'] = $modSettings['showright'] = false;

// Load the headers if necessary.

Note: You will need to specify the IDs of the theme that you want the side blocks to be disabled in. You can see in the above code the ids are specified as 1, 2, 3. you will need o change it to that of your mobile theme and separate each by commas.

Let me know if this worked for you.

With Quick-Reply you can write a post when viewing a topic without loading a new page. You can still use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post.
