Due to the increase number of internet users surfing the internet with their mobile phone, it is very important to make your forum mobile friendly, however smf has not yet lunch their official mobile friendly defualt template that would have made this lot easy but they have built the smf forum software to come with a WAP2, which is a wireless template for mobile phones. This help your forum to be viewed easily on mobile phone.
I will capitalize on this SMF WAP2 template to show you how to build a more mobile user friendly forum.

Step 1:
You will need to download the SMF WAP2 1.5 Mod, click here to download
This mod automatically redirect mobile users to your customized smf wap2 version and allow only PC/Computer users to browsing in full version of the site but also has option for mobile users to go to full version if desired.

Step 2:
After downloading it, install the mod into you smf forum using the package manager in your admin panel.
The installation should go smoothly, remember to select the themes you want this to install into also. Once the installation is complete, Click on modifications settings on your admin panel, then click on Wap settings.

Step 3:
Now when the wap setting opens, tick on the Force Opera Mini to WAP and Force iPhone to WAP, you can also customize the WAP Site width and themes as you wish.

Yes, it was recently updated to be compatible with SMF 2.0.8, but was taken off the mod section again when SMF was updated to 2.0.9. However here is a recent update for SMF 2.0.9, it is called BxK's WAP Mod or you can click here to download it here

Yo will have to enable this in your admin panel to have it to be open. You can set this at Admin > Modification Settings >

Ok i have seen in on the desktop version, hmm that is not suppose to appear the at all, did you encounter any problem during the installation? as did it make any of the file as filed in red?
If no, then you will have to complain at the mod discussion site, but if you had errors while installing it, you shouldn't have go ahead, unless you are sure you will be able to do the Manuel editing required after the installation.

As it now, you might want to uninstall it to get that off you header.

I dont really understand what you mean, if you are talking about your ads, you will have to check the webmasters section, there is a lot of tutorials in there that will help your tweek your wap2 forum.

I just check that now, well i dont know why its not working, other links are working and the installation went smoothly without any error. i will direct your question to the mod author.
